We have two bedrooms on the ground floor, both with twin beds. The guest lounge and breakfast room are on the ground floor and there are no steps to negotiate.

We recommend Gyllyngvase bedroom on the ground floor for people who are able to walk and stand, may be with a walking aid and who are not totally immobile. There is wheel chair access from the car park into the house and lounge and dining room and into Gyllyngvase bedroom. Please note that there is no wheelchair access into the ensuite shower room. The W.C has one hand rail but does not allow for side to side transfer. The shower cubicle has a rim in the shower tray to be stepped over and a drop down seat in the shower. The wash hand basin is in the corner of the ensuite and occupies a small space and is not suitable for a wheelchair.

Gyllyngvase room suits people who do not wish to climb stairs and who benefit from minimal assistance i.e. hand rail and shower seat.
